Nuisance Extraordinaire:

Disclaimer

It just seems worthwhile to mention a few things, if nothing else than to prepare you noobs for my blogging. :D

Profanity
I try not to swear but it will occur from time to time, what’s more I’m aware that certain things I say on here would normally be filtered on the Support Forums but are, as far as I’m concerned, nothing of any worry. So, if you don’t want like swearing or anything considered profane or vulgar by the dictionary, best not read my posts. At least not my rants. ;)

Opinions
My blog, as with all others, is about me. Me and me alone, or rather my thoughts and mine alone. Well…I guess strictly speaking the comments left by others are their own thoughts too…you know what I mean though. Anything I say is not to be taken as the Word of Brandon or InvisionFree/ZetaBoard; if you’re that stupid you honestly have no business being here. In fact you could cut down my moderating work and just disappear completely.

Getting the point now? Good. I like to lead by example. :P

Private Blogs
Some blogs are rendered visible solely to individuals I allow, either through the use of passwords or some other device I’ve yet to discover.
If you are a staff member, you are free to request the password over PM, IM or whatever format suits you best. If I can find something easier that lets me set permissions then I’ll use that instead.
If you are a member, chances are you won’t be seeing it. Think what you like but those I want to see it will be given the password or permissions. Simple truth is certain things are not for everyone’s ears, be they major rants or heart-felt. You can ask me over IM or IRC, it’s perfectly possible that I’ve forgotten to give out permissions, but don’t PM me. PM = instant block of access. :)

Comments
In order to comment you must register - thanks to Akismet, registration is not necessary, and when commenting you must leave your name and email. Security and all that jazz. Comments will not be censored unless:

  1. I feel they contain something vulgar to my standards that is simply not suitable. In such instances I will merely edit and replace the word with something else, then add it to the filter. Hopefully I won’t have to.
  2. A comment that may simply turn discussion into argument. It’s happened before, and as fun as it was, I can’t be bothered these days. My posts may well be provocative, especially as I don’t beat around the bush, and I may unintentionally offend people over my views of religion, politics, recent events or whatever else I discuss. If I do, I’m sorry but I don’t set out to upset people; if you take offense, it’s quite honestly your problem. If I have written something that appears insensitive I will gladly accept feedback and change it, but otherwise I can’t take the blame for every hypersensitive cretin out there. So, anyone looking for something to moan over should instead direct their attention to Maddox, who will happily accept hate mail.
