For shame…
I recall the days in eons since past when one could believe that everyone - no matter who they were - was not inherently stupid, that ignorance was the core and idiocy was but a temporary physical rendering.
Now I see otherwise. Some people are just dim-witted, unintelligent, and dense. No two ways about it. You’re not “hilariously naïve” or “innocently raw”, just plain, unequivocally brainless.
And here is a list of the fools in question:
What? You think I’m that mean? ![]()
Jay, sometimes you read my mind.
I was literally just thinking about this after reading an article in our local paper about a vandalism incident. A parks official was quoted as saying, “Vandalism or what have you is sometimes caused by kids.”
Now, this is technically correct. Good for him. Move to the front of the class. But it’s also tantamount to saying, “Water is wet” or “Snow is cold”. If one is being read by thousands of people, shouldn’t one say something a bit more interesting than the obvious?

Oh…I thought there was some sort of invisible list or something. Shame…
And yah, people are stupid.

It’s not that they are “unequivocally brainless.” Its more like most people lack the capacity/ability to acknowledge that they might be wrong. To me, it seems that the newer generation has become too stubborn for their own good. Instead of thinking “Hey, he might be right!” they think “Holy shit, he’s a flaming homosexual!” Which, apparently, has caused some stressing issues. xD
But yes, i agree. Sometimes i find myself debating with a brick wall. ;/
